"To triumph, we need results - publishable, applicable results" (the quote from the "Beautiful Mind" movie).

Based on citations and thought from Michail Bulgakov (Russian novelist), Prof. Mary Show (Carnegie Mellon University), Prof. Victor Basily (University of Maryland) and others, I will try to talk about what a good paper and thesis would be.
